Antonio the Elf

Everyone, I’d like you to meet Antonio the Elf.  Yes, Antonio has been assigned by Santa himself to keep watch over the Littles in Room 5.  When the kids walked into the classroom on Monday morning, it took my Littles nearly 25 minutes before noticing Antonio sitting on the step reading to his polar pals.  After that, it was utter mayhem in our class.

 Antonio was sitting on this note.
During rest time Antonio sent me a text message...I know what you’re thinking...How on earth did Antonio the Elf get Ms. Solano’s phone number, right?  I’ll let you in on a little secret.  Ready for it?  He’s full of North Pole magic.
{it was really my sweet hubby ~ I asked him to send a text and I changed his contact name to Antonio the Elf.  This way, I was able to show my readers the name and they read it out loud for the class}

Okay, back to the text message.  It said something like “You are all very good sleepers! Your bodies and brains need rest so you can learn as much as possible!  I’m leaving you some magic seeds to plant in the container that is filled with magic dust.  Tomorrow when you get to school, a special treat will have grown for you to enjoy.”

 Look what grew...Antonio is good!
This Littles are anxious to see what Antonio has in store for the rest of the week.

  1. Antonio is soooo cute (love the name BTW!). We have an elf in our classroom too - "Elfie". I'm going to make Paolo send me a text tomorrow too! Great idea!
