it has been a very busy and very hot two weeks of back to school fun!
{YIKES! This week will be a whole lot cooler....I hope}
i have 22 little darlings this year that are full of energy, giggles and smarts! we spent this past couple of weeks getting familiar with the new surroundings. They have all become fast friends and I know it's going to be a great year! Here are a few pictures of the kiddos using math tubs, writing center, and science exploration corner. Please note this class LOVES to have pictures taken. Aren't they sweet?!?!
These kids were wiped out {so was the teacher, but I drool when I sleep so I'm not posting those pics...wink wink}! We are lucky enough to have nap time. Our schedule is jammed this year, so I am not sure how long I will be able keep a full on nap period. But as you can see, they NEED it. These are just a few of my sleepers~the first week alone there were 15-17 sleepers out of 22.

He pulls his socks over his heels, and falls fast asleep…everyday.
When we return from a much needed long weekend, we will hit the ground running! We have our STAR Reading assessments to get through and will begin our Chicka Chicka Unit. We will also get to meet our Eighth Grade Big Buddies - we attend Mass each week with our Buddies, but will not begin that until the 19th.
This year looks to be full of promise, learning, laughter, friendship, and fun!
