Forty IS Fantastic!

I walked into my classroom this morning to a full on "Over the Hill" party {pics to follow}. My AMAZING co-workers, current students & ex-students made this birthday absolutely unforgettable! I am incredibly blessed!

Fabulous at Forty Giveaway Update

Hello bloggy friends! So, in a few short hours I will be turning the big

4 to the OHHHH

{I'm really not that worried about it. You're only as old as you feel, right?}

I mentioned in my giveaway post that I would pick and announce two winners at 11:59 PM, on Friday 2/17. That was before I knew I would be on a plane to Phoenix to watch my son play in a Western Collegiate Soccer Tournament.

My plane leaves at 9:10 mst, I don't arrive in PHX until about 11:15....leaving me to pick up the rental car right about the time I was birthed {is that even a word?} forty years ago.

Sooooooo, I plan on having my kinders help me pick the two lucky winners tomorrow when we have some "down time" {that's just oxy-moranical}. I'll announce and contact the two lucky winners by 5:00 PM.

This is how we ended our dinosaur unit....

I put out two boxes of scrap paper and had them create a setting for the dinosaurs. They worked so hard and created some great pieces of work.
